I wear a 10.5 EE in another Clarks dress shoe and this one was no different. I know others complained that the shoe was too pointy or had too much room in the toe box, but I had no issue with either. I think the former comes down to your personal preference. I like that it has a genuine leather upper and not synthetic. For those that are interested, these shoes are made in India. I like the quality of Clarks shoes and they will continue to be my go-to brand for value.

I am very happy with these shoes. They have leather uppers which look and age much nicer than synthetic alternatives, while still being extremely comfortable.
I would just order the ‘wide’ size unless you know for a fact that you have very narrow feet. I don’t normally wear wide size shoes, but the regulars were too narrow. I ordered 1 size down from what I normally wear in sneakers.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. They arrived with some scratches on them. I contacted Zappos and then sent another pair and told me just to keep,or donate the scratched pair. Can’t beat that for customer service!

I bought these for my husband in brown and black. He loves them and says they are very comfortable and cushiony on the bottom. But for some reason, the black ones are not as comfortable as the brown ones. He says the edge of the sides rubs against his ankles a little. He still likes them, but not as much as the brown ones.

The fit was ok but it really depends on the size of socks you wear. The shoe was also not the most comfortable with the upper shoe pressing on the overarch with its additional detailing. The shoe can also feel a bit narrow at the front, even though it was my size.

Size was too long plus the break in the shoe was an odd position my foot kept slipping out of the back of the shoe because the back part of the shoe seemed very short

Great affordable dress shoes for the office. Needs some break-in period, but not bad. Has outer rubber sole for when you need some grip and slip resistance. Moderate shine.

The Clarks Whiddon Plain is similar to the Clarks Tilden Cap (and, I assume, to the Clarks Tilden Plain). However, the tapered area toward the front of the shoe of the Whiddon narrows more quickly than does the tapered are toward the front of the Tilden (since the Tilden has a bit of a squared-off part at the very front), and thus the Whiddon in a Medium width was too narrow for me while the Tilden in that same Medium width worked just fine. For some people, the Whiddon surely will fit better than the Tilden, but not for me.

Very comfortable for long days on my feet – I’m sometimes 12 + hrs on my feet at work, and these keep me supported and comfortable throughout the day.
