That cap is horrible! I work in a school and walk a lot. The cap is hard leather. Behind the cap is soft leather. Where they meet is a hard seem that hurts the top of my toes where it bends. Painful to wear if you need to walk.

Husband loves the comfort of these shoes and he can be particular. The color is accurate. Really can’t go wrong with Clark’s. Classics.

My order is wrong.
I always liked Zappos being fast and accurate, but now I don’t know.
Ordered a size 7 mens, the box says US size 7
But inside it’s a US size 9.5, like common now.

Just received, not yet worn outside. Just a bit snug, but should loosen up with use, as it is leather. Last time I bought Tilden Cap Oxford Shoe from Clarks half a size smaller, and they are actually slightly larger than these ones. Same size bought from Dockers are longer and larger than these. Breaking in will be painful, as I see. But otherwise, they look great, very light and classy. I am happy with them, and if the quality of Clarks is the same, as before, they should last (had 2 long-lasting pairs of Clarks before).

The shoe looks very nice and is comfortable. I have to order a half size smaller with Clark shoes and also order wide. I don’t have to order wide with most other brands.

Nice comfortable shoes. I have been wearing Clark’s at work for a while. I had a black and light/med brown but needed a dark brown.
I had to buy a half size smaller in length and a wide shoe. No worries with Zappos. Easy to return/exchange. It is dark brown as advertised

I usually wear a size 9.5 shoe, but the 9 was a perfect fit for me in this particular style. Bought them for a wedding and they are perfect to go with a tailored suit. Very comfortable too.

Was looking for shoes to wear with a suit, for weddings this spring. But I have old-feet issues. These look like “real” dress shoes but feel like comfort shoes. Might look for them in brown, too.

One they break in they are good shoes. But I’ve never had a pair of shoes that was less willing to break in than these. It was close to a month of wearing these shoes and enduring pain before they finally broke in. On that basis alone I can’t recommend.

THIS SHOE IS HUUUUGGGE! I bought for my husband who consistently wears a size 9.5. I ordered even an 8.5 and they were still a full size too big! WTH?! He said the shoe felt comfortable but it’s crazy that the sizing is THAT off.
