Super comfortable right out of the box. My husband tried on at least 10 pairs of similar shoes and Clarks Un Shire Low was the best!

Overall I am happy with the shoes. The toe is a little more pointy than shoes in the pictures. The biggest issue is with the shoelaces. Less than a month and they are fraying, I guess they expected that so they put a 2nd pair in the box, not going to bother using the 2nd pair of laces. Lucky for me I saved a pair of shoe laces from an older pair of shoes that will probably outlast the shoes. I would still recommend someone buy the shoes, just warn them about the laces.
