Worth the price. Iโm on my feet all day working at airline hub. Best Iโve had.

First the shoes don’t weigh anything. They look and feel cheap. The sole appears as wide as my other Clarks but there’s no room inside, like there’s not enough room inside the width and height of the upper shoe for my foot. The comfort isn’t even close to what I’m used to with Clarks. I had to remove the insert from the shoes to make room for my arch supports which I’ve never had to do with my other Clarks. Ninety eight per cent of the shoes I’ve ever bought were Clarks and I’m now sixty-six years old, so that’s a lot of shoes. Clarks seems to have gone the way of so many other manufacturers and cheapened up their products. As much as I hate to say it, I guess for the first time in forty years, I need to start shopping other name brands and hope to find something close to the quality and fit I used to get from Clarks. Farewell old friend. It was good while it lasted.

I have been wearing wide shoes for 60 years. I have bought Clarks several times and been very happy. Unfortunately, these were so wide that the sides almost touched above the tongue when tying them. The leather literally buckled because they were too wide. I tried to wear them for a day or two, but they just flopped around. I figure that after wearing them, it is too late to return them. They have been sitting in my closet for months and months. A total waste of money. But there were no other options because when I bought them that was all that they had. Bad choice. Next time I will return them immediately even if there is nothing else to order.

Overall shoe is wider than expected and the inner soles make noise when walking. If I could refund them I would.

These shoes are very lightweight and the soft sole is quite comfortable. But the insole rubs against the upper and squeaks when I walk. I solved the noise issue by removing the original insole and replacing it with a grocery store version of Dr. Scholls. After nine months of use, the wearing surface of the sole is wearing out. The rubber has worn smooth and the softer, more porous rubber inside the sole is exposed to the ground. These shoes are too expensive for this to have happened so quickly!

Like the shoes – width particularly. So hard to find wide shoes these days.

Like these shoes and style that’s why my husband keeps wearing them

I have a problem with the cutout for the achilles tendon; the fit of the inside of the heel is too loose so the shoe irritates the achilles tendon.

The shoes were okay in all catagories. However I would have preferred to buy another pair of Hush Puppies Gus oxfords but they’re apparently not available anywhere.

These are not the same shoe as in the past, wear out in less than half the time as the old shoe
