The size and width was correct, but there is a distinct ridge in the sole arch area that is uncomfortable and painful if the shoe is worn for any length of time. Perhaps this is a flaw or defect in manufacturing or an attempt to provide arch support, but it makes the show unwearable

The shoes are classic wallaby’s. The leather is soft and pliable, and the wide width was perfect. I took out the inserts and my orthotics fit perfectly.

My husband has wide feet and shoes with a wide width are hard to find. I ordered these in a wide width and my husband is very happy with these shoes. He says they are very comfortable. They look very nice too.

I think I may need a 1/2 size smaller. I wasn’t sure as it’s a guess by blog site purchase. Looks fine and feels alright otherwise.

In this shoe I wear an 8.5 Medium or an 8 Wide. I am a woman and wear mostly women’s shoes by Clarks ranging in size from 9 Wide thru size 11. Therefore I find the styles inconsistent in sizing but once I can identify my correct size the fit is always very comfortable. I own 7 pairs of the Clarks Shacre and like them very much. I have flat feet, plantar fasciitis, glass shards (not removable as like shrapnel) in one foot, heel spurs and a poorly repaired foot following being broken.
Therefore it is really something to have found so much comfort with the Clarks Shacre. I avoid the suede, prefer Beeswax, black, navy, pebbled tan, and burgundy. I think these Shacres are nicer than the Wallabees.

I bought these for my husband. This is the second pair I have bought. This is the style that he prefers and they look really nice. My husband says they fit perfectly and the wide width is actually wide enough. The shoes are well made.

I am a female and had fond memories years past of the comfort of Clark’s Wallabee line. I need a size 12 and am usually able to wear a men’s size 10.5, D width. These, however, were too narrow. They are also not the quality that I remember. The suede felt less substantial. Returned.

I’m extremely satisfied with my recent purchase! However, I do have a minor inquiry: would it be possible to offer the 8 1/2 size as a slightly shorter option? I find it to be about a half-inch longer than I prefer, but I still like the fit better than a tighter one.
Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with the shoes. I’ve worn this model my whole life, and it’s a true classic.
