These loafers are cute and the tan is a nice medium camel/brown color, which is just what I was looking for. Many brown loafers have gold detail, which I didn’t want, so these were great that the chain is a tortoiseshell color. The leather of the shoe is unlined so its pretty flexible and soft, which might make it stretch out more than one would want. I wish it were a tad more structured/sturdy. The footbed is nicely padded.
The issue I have with them is they run really big. I usually wear an 8.5 and sometimes 9 depending on the shoe style. I ordered an 8.5 and it was huge. There was probably over an inch between the end of my toe and the end of the shoe and when I walked the slopped around on my feet and off my heel. I ordered an 8 to see how that fits.
With the less sturdy leather and the sizing, even if I find a pair that fits now, I’m a bit concerned they would stretch and get sloppy after wearing them for a while. But for the price, its worth the risk to see b/c they are cute.
