Clark’s wins again. These are stylist, fit well, great heel height for slacks and jeans, and are comfortable for walking. I am up and down at work, standing and walking: these keep me well supported. I have a high arch, which makes pulling on booties difficult if not impossible. These worked perfectly.

Love them for working being on my feet all day as a furniture sales agent. The heel is rubber/cushiony, but doesn’t look like it. Looks good with business slacks and skirts.

Bought these for my wife to wear to work (Business Dress). She raved about them and wore them the first day with no issues. Clarks has emerged as a “go-to” brand as they are consistent with size, quality and fit.
They were comfortable, stylish and fit perfectly. I bought these in both the navy and brown, Zappos made me a hero once again!

A nice comfortable shoe, although the length of the footbed is longer than expected. The rounded toe gives roomy fit, heel material provides good cushion and makes it possible to wear most of the day. Nice finish on leather with gusset and zipper for easy on off. Another good Clark’s product.

I have stupid feet…large, flat and annoying. I practically live in running shoes because they are the only thing comfortable for work. I got these Clarks and wore them for the first time today and they were as comfortable as a worn-in shoe. The style was great with jeans and the shoes were cushioned well. Clarks are about the only shoes I can wear that don’t hurt my feet and they still look stylish. Would buy again!

I’ve worn a size 7 wide for years. Recently I’ve had to purchase 6.5 wide. These shoes are 6.5 wide and are too big. I’d need a size 6 wide.

I bought these to use as interview shoes to pair with a navy blue dress. I was skeptical because it’s not a standard pump heel and I just didn’t know what reality would have in store.
These shoes are comfy on day one. I have wide feet so it’s always a crap shoot on whether the shoe is wide enough or if it will look good. This did both. It was wide and comfy and didn’t look like I was wearing a fin. Also, these shoes are great with jeans, slacks, and dresses. I kind of now want them in black and blue.

Great quality! My right foot loves them and my left foot isn’t a huge fan. I’m hoping I need to just break them in. I have a pair of Clarks loafers that are much more comfy.

So after wearing this shoe for the second time I’m ready to give a review. All I wear are Dansko’s which keep me from having pain in my feet, but sometimes I want a lady shoe to wear out and this fit the bill. It’s stylish the width is true to size and the heel is perfect and gives heavy me good support. I wasn’t sure what size to get cause I always buy a size 41 in Dansko’s which is a 10-11 and I started to get a 91/2 but went with the 10 and I’m glad I did cause I have room in the front of the shoe and some in the heel also but my toes don’t jam in the front of the shoe now that’s painful I think the 91/2 would have caused toe jam and I even wore a thicker type sock which took up some room. I don’t think I would have like knee highs or hose it might have been to loose. I wanted to be able to wear a thicker sock. So that works for me. But I’m really pleased with my purchase and doubly glad that I did not have to go through exchanging them. I got me some lady shoes.

They are nice shoes and I would definitely recommend them … they’re Clark’s. I like that the heals do not click on the ground when walking and they are very comfortable.

I’m in my mid-50s, nearly 6′ tall, and have long, wide feet with high arches. Finding shoes my size has always been a trial. Finding shoes that fit well, feel good, and are stylish has been nearly impossible. My usual size is 11.5-12 E/EE. The widest that was available in this shoe was a 12D, but Clarks have been good shoes for me in the past, so decided I had nothing to lose with Zappos’ free-return policy. I was looking for a more modern winter shoe with style and stability that would transition well between skirts, slacks, and jeans and these looked like they might work. I’m TIRED of blah ballet flats that make my feet look like they’ve already given up.
I tried on the newly-arrived shoes when I got home from after a workday when my feet are their sorest, most tired, and biggest. I wore them all evening–that’s a testimony in itself. The next day I wore them to work and was on my feet most of the day. They are stable (the nice chunky heel); the foot bed is padded nicely; the side zipper is fun and great for easy off and on with the higher cut; there is plenty of room in the toe box for my knobby feet that easily tend toward bunions on the big toe joints. They look good with tights, leggings, stockings, and they work with my knee socks for jeans.
It is amazing not to have to try to decide between comfort and style. The answer is BOTH. Nothing is ever going to make my feet look tiny and delicate. If that’s what you’re looking for, these shoes are not for you. These are boss shoes–no apologies–I’m here. And my big old feet aren’t going to hide under the desk or chairs anymore, especially when I’m wearing these!
ANd best of all, they are daughter-approved: “Go, Mom!” 🙂

Did not have to break these shoes in! Slipped them on and I was off and running. Love how supple the leather was from day one.

The rubber sole and heel were what turned me off once I saw them close-up. They are meant for someone in a job that involves standing all day and/or where looking a bit geriatric isn’t an issue, as it would be at my office.
The color was an extremely dark cool brown, almost black. I was looking for more of a rich brown.

As someone who has narrow feet, finding a pair of shoes where my heel doesn’t slip out has been difficult. Thank you Clarks for one of your few styles where my heel stays in place, the toe box is roomy and the shoes are well padded and comfortable to wear!

I wanted to like these. I really did. But sadly, they suffer from a proportioning problem in larger sizes. I ordered a 12 N (my usual size). The slope down from the heel is steep and too far back so my foot only touches the sole at the heel and toes, with no contact whatsoever in between, whereas the toe section is a bit longer than it should be. I have very low arches and usually have the opposite problem, so it’s definitely the shoe and not my feet. The geometry of this shoe just did not scale up properly. I have included a side view in the size 12, that hopefully illustrates the issue. The taper in the toe area actually extends all the way back to the ball of my foot. It’s like they just lengthened the forward part of the shoe and left the rest proportioned for an average size. Obviously these are going back because I can’t walk around comfortably with my entire midfoot floating in the air.

I needed a new ‘bootie’ for work, and these fit the bill perfectly (and I’ve been having some issues finding the right shoe!!). It is just a little loose in the heel when walking but I found that to give my instep the space it needed to not be too tight around the vamp. I am VERY happy (as always, Zappos – another Grand Slam!!!!)
