Too tight for my foot bumped up to 9 from 8.5 … we will see

Unfortunately it runs small AND narrow. I asked my husband if getting a half size up would alleviate both problems; he said he wasn’t sure because of the shape of the toe box. (He does not have wide feet.) He’s never had a problem getting his typical shoe size on for any brand – he also tried on a different shoe made by this brand and it fit fine – but this specific style was a big miss in fit. Which is a shame, because he really liked the look and style. But we were out of time and needed a boot for him for colder weather travel, so we went with a different shoe altogether. We didn’t have time to keep trying different sizes. Returning.

these are nice looking boots but run way too small. i’ve been a size 12 since i was 17, i am 54 now. i could barely get my feet into them

I always wear a size 9.5 with Clark’s shoes (for decades) including another model I purchased from Zappos a few weeks ago, these Barnes Mid are a lot smaller – I had to order 5 pairs to get the right fit which is 11.5 for this model. There is some sort of size/design gap Clark’s should fix as this was inconvenient as you can imagine. Great looking and feeling shoes once you find the right size.

loved the look, good quality, but because the toe narrows, needed a half size bigger which isn’t available.
