In other brands I always have to try on the 9 and the 9 1/2. In Clarks, a 9 W always fits perfect. These are a nice sturdy and supportive basic shoe. They have a roomy toe box, that I love, and an adjustable velcro strap across the instep. Super cute style.

These are my new go-to everyday shoes, replacing a much-loved pair of Clark’s unPoem? that I bought about 10 years ago. They work well with my hand knitted socks or tights, and they go with just about everything I wear (pants, jeans, leggings). They are dressy enough for the places I go – church, out to dinner, an occasional party. I like the fact that I can adjust the strap easily.

Very cute shoe! Would look cute with pants, jeans, and skirts. Sending back though as they just didn’t fit. I’ve owned many pairs of Clarks over the years and always wear an 8 and 1/2. The length was good but overall they were tight and didn’t seem to have any give even though they are labeled “Bendables”. Thanks for having such a great return policy. I’ll keep trying until I find the perfect pair.

Bought these to go on a trip to Egypt – tried on the right one so I knew they fit fine but then when packing today to leave tomorrow, I unpacked the left shoe and the strap is missing!!! They are unusable and now I don’t have any shoes for the trip of a lifetime. Super bummed that they sent me a defective pair and mad that I didn’t inspect more carefully. Never expected that you sold seconds that are truly unusable.

So disappointed! They are really nice sandals and I am a standard 8 wide but they are at least 1/2 size small and way too narrow. I double checked to make sure I had the right size.

I bought these shoes today in dark navy, which almost looks black. I plan to wear them with black, navy or grey clothes. I tried on several Clark shoes in similar styles. Usually I wear an 8 1/2 but these shoes I bought in an 8 and they fit me to a T. They are even comfy without my orthodic inserts. I put my orthodics in them with out removing the inside of the shoe. They fit but were snug. I am going to try wearing them to work as is with out the orthodic. I will caution you , even though these Clarks ran only a half size larger the other Clark shoes in similar styles ran an entire size larger.

I have been eyeing these for several years and finally found them on Zappos. I love the style and the can be dressed up or down depending on the event. The only reason a gave them a 3 star on comfort is due to the moderate arch support.

I was excited when I opened the box — these shoes are ssoooo cute!! I had a little break-in period, but now they are very comfortable and seem to be true to size. At first, I felt a little extra pressure in the toe box, but that seems to be fine now.

I originally bought a size 9W (which is what I usually wear), but had to exchange for an 8W. They are super comfortable and great for work. I like the adjustable strap across the top (it’s velcro) because it can provide a little extra room if your feet are swollen. I’d recommend these shoes.

This is a ‘comfort’ shoe that looks good. I bought in pewter to take me through a summer trip to Europe, so I won’t feel underdressed. In the meantime, they’re commuting with me to the city. A bit wide, but I wear them with inserts and light liners.

These shoes were a great purchase for me. They were comfortable right out of the box and fit true to size. I wear an 8.5 D but often have to buy a 9 or 9.5 B because a wide width is not available. However, these came in D widths and the 8.5 D fit perfectly; lots of toe wiggle room. After wearing them around home and on short walks for a few days to try them out, I risked suitcase space and took them with me on a 3-week vacation that involved a lot of all-day walking on cobbled streets. Learning from past experience, I switched daily between the Clarks and another pair of older shoes, but the Ashland Spin Q pair served me very well. They were versatile enough in style to wear with either pants or skirts, my feet stayed reasonably cool on hot days, and they were flexible, comfortable, and durable. The last few days of the trip, when my feet were getting pretty tender and a bit swollen, one spot on one of my little toes did start rubbing on a seam that normally my toes don’t touch, but by then even my other pair of memory foam shoes were bothering me as well. Now that I’m home and rested, it’s no longer a problem again and I’m thinking I need another pair in a different color. 🙂

They look great and feel great except they are too big. I’ll return these and try a medium instead of wide which in some shoes I wear. Of course Zappos is the best so I can try again.

I absolutely love these shoes. I have really flat feet and have to be able to put orthotics in my shoes. There are not many shoes that will accomodate them but they fit in these just perfectly in an extra-wide width. My new puppy chewed up the strap on one of them while I was at work and I was devastated when I tried to order a replacement and they were out of stock. Zappos emailed me when they were back in stock and I grabbed it right away! I love Zappos and I love these shoes!

The shoe felt true to size and width with plenty of toe room. The shoe height allows for the insertion of orthotics. Adjustable strap helps in making shoe fit comfortably. Have the shoe in several colors.

I really like these shoes. I walk a lot and these shoes keep up. Nothing rubs or pinches. I wear 11 1/2 12 B but the 11 W are perfect. I wear with stockings and skirts. They are well made, seem to make me walk straighter that normal, my right ankle usually tips inward. It’s not as pronounced in these shoes. They don’t seem to have lots of cushioning inside like some shoes but adequate but they fit so well that it’s like being barefoot. Light, plenty of toe room, and they are perfect shoe with skirts. I think that during out 100+ weather in the Ca Central Valley they will still allow for swelling feet. Yes girls, when you’re over 60 that happens in the heat. They seem to be well ventilated. So I have Black and Tan and order another black for next year. Oh and I paid under $70 a pair. Yay!

These remarkable shoes are so comfortable – right out of the box. Due to bunions I require a wide shoe with a full toe box and these shoes are just right and look good too.

So I ordered 5 pairs of shoes since I have a new teaching job and the dress code for teachers doesn’t allow open toed sandals (which is what I wear practically year round in CO.). I have very hard-to-fit feet…a really high arch which makes many shoes too tight across the top of my foot. I also need good support in the sole. I read the reviews carefully to see how I should adjust the size and width…I normally wear a size 9, but sometimes a 9.5 feels better. I’m normally a medium width as well. Of the 5 pairs I ordered, these were the ones that instantly felt very comfortable. I ordered these in a 9 wide since reviews seemed to say they run a bit narrow. I’m glad I bought the wide because there is just enough room for it to not squeeze the top of my foot. The toe box fits very comfortably (I really can’t stand cramped toes). The shoes look very fashionable and professional. I’m very happy with my purchase! They were also on sale which is another plus. I’m so thankful for Zappos being willing to ship out 5 pairs and to ship back 4 pair for free. Sometimes I’ve ordered 5 pairs and kept all 5…but I knew my feet would be finicky with finding an enclosed shoe that will work for my new job.

I usually wear 9.5 W in Clark’s but I needed to return those and get 9.5WW. I think it’s probably because I always live in sandals (if not barefoot or slippers) but I needed enclosed shoes for some winter trips I’ll be taking. The wide pair fit, but wasn’t as comfortable as the double wide. These look great and will be perfect for sightseeing. And kudos to Zappos for making the return so easy — and free!

Love love love. I was looking for an option to flip flops. I’ve never been one for this style of shoe, but I am digging these.
Tall, wide toe box. May take a minute of breaking in where the shoe hits near the ankle, but I think they’ll prove comfy.
Am wait-listed for a black pair to wear in flight, as I am a female flight attendant with a Size 12 foot who is always in search of comfy shoes to wear on my 10-hour flights. .

Good fit, but I didn’t like the light colored stitching. Polished them with shoe paste to cover up stitching- think they look way better.

Length and width wise the shoes fit great! They are very comfortable. I’ve worn them all day already a few times, and they work awesome for support and comfort. I was looking for a comfortable, cute dress shoe and these are perfect. My only note is when I first got them, they were a little tight on the tops of my feet. I wore them around with thick socks though for about a day and they stretched out just right. Very pleased with this purchase.

I used British Tan shoe polish to tone down the obnoxious white topstitching.
(Shoe companies: stop doing that!)
