I have been looking for a Clark shoe to replace my UnLoops that I have worn for a long time. This shoe comes very close to that style but is different with the silver buckles. This shoe fits my short wide feet and is quite comfortable. The 7 wide was sized exactly right. I really like the navy color.

button came off after wearing about 5 times, disappointing

Nicely constructed, comfortable, classic styled shoe. This shoe is not a tight fitting and actually feels a bit loose. The elastic that secures the the shoe across the top of the foot is very stretchy and allows the shoe to flex very freely around the ankle. If you are looking for a shoe that provides a lot of support around the foot itself then this is not the shoe for you. If you want a shoe that is well constructed, has good arch support and cushion but allows for more space and movement within the shoe itself then this may be the right fit. It almost feels like a slipper it is so comfortable. I went on a trip and did a lot of walking with them right out of the box and my feet felt great at the end of the day.
I typically wear size 8.5 or 9 medium depending on the shoe. I went with a 9. I have plenty of room inside of the shoe for thick winter socks. I could have possibly worn an 8.5 but I think if I went smaller the toe box may become too cramped.

good looking shoe but as many people have said…Clarks has changed their sizing overall. It was at least 1/2 size to small and narrow also. I think I will give up on Clarks

I wear a 9-9.5 narrow, so finding attractive shoes that fit without having to add insoles or wear two pair of socks is a real treat. Sadly, Clark’s is abandoning those of us with narrow feet by offering fewer and fewer styles in narrow. That said, I love these shoes! I bought them in brown in a 9N and felt they were a tiny bit short, but I could live with them. They were so comfortable that I went back and bought them in black and ordered a 9.5N. They are perfect. As a college prof I’m on my feet most of the day between walking the campus and standing in classes. Right out of the box these shoes provided the comfort and support I need for very long days. Thank you Clark’s and Zappos.

My feet are very hard to fit due to several issues I have. I thought the wide would give me the roomier toe box, and it did, but the heel was also roomier which made the shoe slip up & down. I wish I could have kept them.

beautiful. tried on after work. waked around bedroom OOK. put on next morning to wear to work and hell slipped to much to wear. returning for one size smaller. worth trying again

I’ve owned these before & wore them for 3 years before needing to replace them. The pair that I received this year 2017 weren’t made as well as the outside button on the right shoe fell off after a few wears. I don’t open & close the button, but with it being gone the shoe doesn’t stay closed so it cannot be worn. Very disappointed especially since I see that I am not the only one that this happened to.

These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I have large feet (size 10) which are wide at the toes but narrow at the heel. I got a size 10, B width. Literally, for the first time in my life, I have a pair of shoes that do not crush my toes, but also do not slip off my heel. They feel wonderful, and they look great. I liked them so much, I bought a second pair in Redwood, and a pair for my daughter. Love these shoes.

All I can say is I put these on as soon as they arrived today (with thin socks) and haven’t taken them off. They may be just a smidge long on my usual Clarks 8W but I’m happy! Someone said they feel like slippers and I agree. I see many miles in these shoes.

Love these! Bought these for work. Super comfy and cute. I am not a someone that likes the ballet flats or heels, trying to find shoes that are cute and appropriate for a business environment is challenging (I’d prefer to be in sneakers or bare feet). Past shoes I would hate to wear and would take off when at my desk but buying these shoes I forget that i am wearing them =D

I have a wide foot that’s high near the ankle bone (dorsal part of the foot) so I often can’t wear a shoe that rides up to high on the top of my foot. I tried these shoes in a 9WW, 9 1/2W and and 10 W. The WW felt a bit sloppy, the 10W was a bit too long. The 9 1/2 W was just right. By the way, the Black has a pebbly texture while the Black leather has a smooth finish.

My foot size is 8 1/2 WW and I bought a 9 W and held my breath. Fortunately the width of these shoes is perfect. The elastic over the mid-foot is likely why. Also I could have ordered the 8 1/2. The 9 is a little long but will work with thicker socks. So bottom line, order your regular size and width. The burgundy color is more brownish-burgundy than burgundy-burgundy, if you get my drift. Not exactly what I wanted, but the color is not a deal breaker. And let’s be real here. They are not going to win any kind of a beauty contest. Would likely look better on a more petite foot. So what else is new. OK….so I won’t be wearing them out to a fancy schmancy restaurant. And that’s OK too. Know why? They are super duper comfortable. Right out of the box. That is almost impossible for me to find. So I’ll wear them for walking, on airplanes, and to the grocery store….and I’ll wear pink fluffy socks….and they will be perfect.

I ordered a size 12 N once again, and I got a perfect fit. The leather is beautiful, and I like the “button” styling of this shoe. I could walk around in these shoes all day long. I find that when I buy a shoe from what they call “Clarks Collection” I get shoes that fit my long feet.

I look for some moderate structure and support in my everyday shoe and this one fit the bill. I appreciate the feminine details since sometimes I have to wear men’s shoes to get ones that fit my foot. I wish there were more tread and traction on the bottom but not a deal breaker.

These feel like wearing stiff, loose, slippers.
They slipped in the heel and the very narrow sole in the arch area caused my feet to pronate (roll inward) with every step.
They aren’t comfortable. They aren’t attractive. The materials don’t feel high quality. The leather of one of the shoes I received was badly creased across the top, probably from someone else trying it on.
There’s simply nothing here to like. I’m shocked that Clark’s would put their name on this shoe.
I like this style of shoe, so I like this shoe in theory. But, in reality they are a sad disappointment. I don’t remember disliking a shoe this much in a very long time – maybe ever!

The worst shoe I’ve ever worn. Toes are crushed against almond- shaped toe portion of shoe. Returning unworn brown pair. Unfortunately I wore the black pair and cannot return.

Excellent shoe, bit bigger fits perfect with socks

Delighted to find a well-made leather shoe in XW that doesn’t look like an orthopedic granny shoe. The leather is gorgeous and these shoes are truly XW (as in E-EE). The cushioned, contoured footbed offers arch support and extra cushioning in the heel. The edges are all rounded and padded so there’s no rubbing at the heel, and there’s good room for 5 whole human toes. They’re lightweight and they’re comfortable right out of the box. And, unlike other wide shoes, these don’t make my feet look like Clydesdale clodhoppers.

Love the shoe, just what I needed. It doesn’t have quite enough room laterally in the box (bunion issue), but I think they will stretch out as I wear them
Doris –
For the first time in30 years I have found shoes that actually feel good on my arthritic feet. The arch is good and the shoe over all is excellent. I will be buying more as needed.

Very sad. These shoes with very little use, split wide open at the ball of the sole. Not a piece of trash with beautiful, Clark leather upper.
Lynn –
I’m pretty picky as to comfort, especially since I wear orthotics normally. These shoes are plenty comfortable to get me thru several hours without them. The way they cross over & have a bit of elastic at the buttons makes it pretty easy to get on & off & yet not slip on heel. Very happy with purchase. They were very true to size for my 8 M.
Hazel –
neat shoes, wore one pair the next day after receiving for 4 hours, no problems, my feet felt good.

I love this shoe. I have it in brown and ordered it in black. I’m so glad I did. It is more comfortable and more attractive than any other shoe I tried.
