I love this shoe but it is so wide in the heel I can’t keep it on. I ordered my regular size (8M). I exchanged for 8.5N and I still can’t keep it on. It is a really cute style but doesn’t fit. I’m disappointed.

I have 3 pair of this style in different colors. They are my favorite shoes to wear to work. So comfortable right out of the box and perfect to wear with slacks and skirts with tights. Preppy look which is my style. Great fit for my wide foot.

These are beautiful shoes and the heel height is just what I need but there is little or no arch support. Also, they are slippery-the traction isn’t good. I kept them because I liked them but I’ll have to replace the foot-bed with something more supportive and do something to the bottoms to keep from slipping.

I LOVE these shoes. They are wider than normal and perhaps larger than normal. I ordered a half size smaller than I usually order because of the comments from other buyers. My feet are wide and unfortunately I have bunions. These shoes are so comfortable I can wear then all day. I have now ordered a second pair

These shoes are awesome! I love wearing them with jeans and casual slacks. Very comfortable and I’ve ordered two different colors and can’t wait to receive them. The back of the heel area is a little loose (they don’t slip off) but through out the day when my feet swell, they fit perfect. I would highly recommend this shoe.

This is my favorite loafer. I own it in black, navy and brown. I am replacing the black while I still can get it because I wear it so much. I do remove the insoles and place my own arch support in them now, but I used to wear them as is before age made my feet so flat. These are great to walk in and the soles are well cushioned.

I have a wide toe bed but not a wide heel. The shoe slipped up and down on my heel. I have had this problem with other shoes.

Simple, tassle loafer look, which might not always be my first choice. But they are comfortable and cute and keepers! Shoes are so pointy these days (even other Clarks), and I have a wider and higher toe box and narrower heel, so it has been nearly impossible to find shoes this last year or so. Very happy with these. I am also happy with the Rockport Cobb Hill Dierdre shoes I bought at the same time. Thanks, Zappos! Love them both. 2 for 2.

Buyers beware of this shoe!! I have had this shoe for nearly a year and have worn them often. A month ago the end of one of the ties on top pulled out of the casing. Because Clarks boasts a lifetime warranty and I knew Zappos would not accept a return of worn shoes (though they have accommodated me before…), I went directly to Clarks and submitted a complaint. Clarks’ response from customer service was this: “Tassel breakdown is fairly common in shoes, and this is not an issue that affects the structural integrity of the shoe. My best recommendation would be to glue tassel back down, or take it to a shoe repair shop for a fairly inexpensive fix. I have included a 25% coupon code that you can use towards your next purchase. …” This is one unhappy customer!! I responded and Clarks has now offered to replace the shoe with one comparable, but I have to pay for shipping to them so they can first inspect the shoes, “Your shoes will be inspected upon receipt by our warehouse. If we agree that your shoes do not meet our high standards, we will be happy to replace the shoes based on the preferences you indicate on your paperwork.” I thought Clarks was better than this.

r orthotics, and a lot of reviews said they ran a little wide. So I ordered a medium and with my orthotics they make them fit perfect.A lot of times I get a wide, and even with the orthotics they were still to big. So knowing that they ran a little wide was very nice to know. For me they were perfect.

I found these too be too big on top of my foot. It was very odd. I also have a slender heel and they did slip. I also sound the too wide or maybe too adjustable? On the sides. It was an odd fit.

I normally wear either an 8 W or 7.5 WW. I bought these in an 8W first, and they were a little long, and extra roomy width-wise. I reordered in a 7.5 W and they were still plenty wide. I maybe could have gotten away with a 7.5 M, but I have a couple of toes that I broke several years ago that didn’t heal exactly right, and they are much less forgiving than they used to be about breaking in tight shoes. My toes like the extra with, so I kept these. I just put it together now that an 8 M probably would have fit me the way I’m used to an 8 W fitting.
It’s a great quality leather shoe with classic Clark comfort I wholeheartedly recommend!

I wore these all day on Father’s Day without socks and they were super comfy and very stylish with ankle pants. Equally comfy with sock liners. Already bought a second pair.

Great shoe and very comfortable. I have bunions and the wide width is the way to go. They are true to size. I bought the navy, black, and tan all fit great…if you want great service and selection Zappos is the place to look!!

I received these shoes and they fit perfectly! The toe box is generous so that your toes are not crushed. Beware, however, of the fact that Clarks’ products are not standardized: my first pair of the Ashland Bubble had the top of the heel section that was almost 1/4″ higher than this pair that I ordered from Zappos! The first pair cut right into my ankle and I had to return them. This pair fit perfectly, so maybe even at Zappos, you will need to order a second pair and return the first if the problem lies with the Clarks brand! I do admit, though, that Clarks is where I always begin shopping since they have a wide variety of styles. I was looking for a comfy everyday shoe and this Ashland plus the Ashland Lily have nicely cushioned innersoles. The 12 Med is the size I bought. I don’t think that I am really a size 12, but the way that shoes are made these days in China means that we all have to work with the sizing we are offered. I had to play with inserts to make my smaller foot fit well in the shoe. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these but be sure to try a second pair if the first one doesn’t exactly fit correctly!
