I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with flip-flops; love them for their ease and versatility (in theory), but hate that they usually just want to flop right off my bony (shallow, low-volume) feet, and I find the toe thong is often really uncomfortable. Happily, these Arla Kaylies give me everything I could wish for! The super-soft fabric upper has some stretch, and the strap placement is well-positioned to really hold the sandal on the foot, despite them being a bit too wide for me. (There’s a little bit of the “slap, slap” sound when walking, of course, but compared to most flip-flops, even that is pretty minimal with these.) The toe post is also soft, and after wearing them all day for two days straight at the beach, I can attest to their comfort. The sole is sublimely-cushy, yet supportive, and the height (and angle) is enough to prevent lower back pain, for me (I’ve never been able to wear anything completely flat). I chose these in the “bright coral” color way, and love the cheery, vivid shade. As for sizing, I’m a solid 6.5 in most shoes, and generally wear a 6 in Clarks sandals, including these. Definitely recommend!!

Love the Clarks Cloudstepper line of sandals especially the Arla. They footbed is comfy and has adequate arch support and cushions my foot. I can wear them all day without my feet getting fatigued or sore and the toe post is the same fabric as the strap so it is soft and does not rub between my toes. It has a nice low heel that makes it comfortable to be in all day. A simple design but goes with many casual outfits and doesn’t accentuate my bunions!

The overall length of these shoes is true to size. However, the toe post is positioned way too far back on the sole to fit a normally proportioned foot. There was over an inch of space past my toes, but my heel was hanging off the back. I have long toes, so usually have the opposite problem. I was very surprised to see these badly designed shoes from Clarks. Because of the fit issue, I felt very unstable walking in them and was afraid of my foot sliding off the platform, which could have resulted in a sprained ankle or fall. I returned them immediately.

It felt really comfortable to put on and fit perfectly. But the sole was too squishy and heavy. I didn’t like walking in it. So back it goes.

These Clarks are like walking on pillows. They’re super comfy! The thong isn’t at all uncomfortable because it’s made of soft fabric. I’m not sure if the fabric will stretch over time making them too loose. But I’ve been wearing them for about 6 weeks and so far the fabric is holding up. My only complaint is that the sole feels like rubber and on summer days this makes my feet feel hot.

Having found the Clarks Arla Gracie sandals to be spectacularly comfortable right out of the box and still after walking for hours in them when they were new, I had high expectations for this style. I usually wear an 8.5W, though in that style 8W was correct. Following some reviews of the Kaylie style I ordered a 9 (only B widths were available, as is usual for a flip-flop. The 9 was both too long and the footbed felt narrower. Overall, the shoe seemed heavy, which is odd, since the Gracie style with straps seemed very light. I’ll be returning these Clarks Kaylie sandals. I have a version of the Clarks Breeze Sea, their standard flip-flop, from at least 5 years ago which have held up remarkably well. And that shoe is less expensive than the Kaylie and comes in many, many colors too. I will probably invest in a pair of that style, with fingers crossed that the fit and quality is the same as the ones I have been enjoying every summer.

They are very comfortable and the toe post is soft. I usually wear size 6, which is what I ordered. My foot hangs over the back so I will be exchanging them for a size 7. I wish they came in 1/2 sizes.

i thought i was barefoot. these are so comfy. fits exactly as i need it to (wide at the ball of the foot and narrow at the heel). sleek artistic design makes ya feet look TINY.

Although the padding was wonderful under feet, it had a little too much higher heel, so my foot felt like it was slanted down when walking and caused some foot aches. The between toes strap was softer than most but I can’t get used to that, so exchanging for some slide without toe straps. For anyone liking wedge type shoes and toe straps it will probably be wonderfuly for you!

These are *so* cute and very comfortable everywhere *except* for the area between the big toe and second toe, I have arthritis so it’s a bit sensitive there. I had to rerun due to that reason but for others these would probably be perfect!

These are SO comfortable. The cloth straps are stylish and very comfortable (I have bunions). The footbed is stable and soft. I have a wide foot, but the medium width were fine for me.

I unfortunately listened to other reviewers and sized down instead of up being a half size myself and they were too small. Had to return and the next size was sold out. Very cute and comfortable though just too small. Disappointed I couldn’t exchange for size.

Super comfortable and nice looking. I have very wide feet, and my feet unfortunately hang a bit over the sides of the shoe, but I’m okay with that – just something to keep in mind if you have wide feet!
